I have a soft spot in my heart for Croatia. It is so uniquely travel-able. It is
compact and easy to explore;
diverse in stunning scenery and natural beauty;
historically intriguing;
gastronomically delightful and delicious;
a fantastic jumping-off point for several other countries that at one time were rarely visited by non-Europeans. (I'm not going to tell you until you and I have our planning meeting, wink, wink).
Visiting Croatia, it is easy to fill your vacation with stimulating and rewarding experiences at beaches and waterfalls, in cities, on the water, in nature, marveling at medieval architecture, taking in UNESCO sites, and touring Game of Thrones locations. All of this in a single country steeped in vibrant Greek, Roman, Ottoman and Slavic influences, among others, that still permeate the country today.
I'm not here to write a book on Croatia. Instead, I'd like you to enjoy what my colleagues at Approach Guides put together for us this week.
